The Gyuto Monks wish to announce the upcoming relocation of Gyuto Wheel of Dharma Monastery to its new home at 2601 Taylor St. NE, Minneapolis, MN. Monastery opening dates, details and event info will be announced in the next few weeks.

The new Gyuto Wheel of Dharma Monastery has been renovated under the guidance of Ven. Abong Rinpoche & Ven. Gendun Kalsang-la after many years of property search in the Northeast area and Twin Cities.

As the renovation nears completion, the monks are requesting community financial support for the following monastery needs.


Donations are needed to help pay for:

Gold Buddha Statue for Main Altar

Offering bowls, butter lamps and ritual items for altar

Fire puja area and landscaping supplies

New kitchen goods (for both kitchens)

Shoe racks, cushions, carpets, etc.


Your donations of any size are tax deductible and will help make GWDM a center for enlightened dharma activity, a source of cultural education, preservation and service for the Tibetan community, and a resource for its many students and friends.
